Project Overview
Process
The process involved conducting secondary research
by reviewing existing user interviews, moderated and
unmoderated usability sessions, product
documentation, demos, and legacy app personas that
DocuSense was intended to replace.
Analysis Criteria
What common goals, tasks, and workflows are
repeatedly mentioned by users?
What pain points or usability issues consistently
emerge across sessions?
How do different user roles interact with the product,
and where do their needs diverge?
What language, mental models, or expectations do
users express when discussing the product?
Development & Analysis
I compiled and analyzed extensive data from multiple sources, including legacy app personas, usability sessions, and product documentation, to identify key behaviors, goals, and pain points. I synthesized these insights into actionable personas, which I presented to product managers to inform design decisions, guide development priorities, and shape user recruitment for usability studies. The personas directly influenced feature design and ensured alignment with real-world workflows, improving the relevance and effectiveness of subsequent research.
